Why We Started This Work

Back in 2019, we noticed something troubling. Brilliant ecology graduates were struggling to find meaningful work that matched their training. The gap between academic preparation and real-world ecological careers was wider than anyone wanted to admit.

We'd seen too many talented people drift away from ecology not because they lost interest, but because they couldn't figure out how to build sustainable careers in the field. Traditional career services weren't equipped to handle the unique challenges ecologists face.

How We've Grown

2019

Started with Basic Career Counseling

We began offering standard career advice to ecology graduates. Quickly realized that generic approaches weren't working for people who wanted to spend their careers studying ecosystems and wildlife populations.

2021

Added Specialized Ecological Training

Developed our first community ecology workshops. Started connecting people directly with environmental consultancies and research institutions across Germany. This hands-on approach made a real difference.

2023

Expanded Professional Networks

Built relationships with over 40 environmental consulting firms and research organizations. Started our mentorship program connecting experienced ecologists with people just starting their careers.

Focus on Practical Skills

Now we emphasize real fieldwork experience alongside career development. Our participants work on actual ecological assessment projects while building the professional connections they need for long-term success.
